Your secure Chèque-service accueil (CSA) site

In order to benefit from the CSA, parents residing in Luxembourg must apply for a personalised membership card for their child to their municipality. Non-resident parents should apply to the Caisse pour l'avenir des enfants.
myCard fir Kanner It provides access to a secure online space offering a range of functions and advantages :
  • access to educational materials suited to the age of their child,
  • the ability to consult the monthly invoices and statements of account issued by the CSA,
  • involvement in the multilingual education weeks (1 to 4 years of age).
Your myCard remains valid up to the end of primary school; in other words, no new card is issued upon the annual renewal of the CSA membership contract. In the event of loss, parents must apply to the municipal authorities or the Caisse pour l'avenir des enfants for a duplicate.

A parent account allows you to access several online services of the Ministry of Education, Childhood and Youth as the "chèque-service accueil". If you do not yet have a parent account, please click HERE !

Everybody, who owns a IAM Code and the corresponding Linking Code of one or more of his children, can create a parent account. To create a parent account, click HERE ! .

If you are a legal representative of one or more children and if you take advantage of the "chèque-service accueil", you should have received a letter with the myCard and the corresponding Linking Code of your child.

If you do not yet benefit from the services of the "chèque-service accueil" :

  • if you live in Luxembourg, you have to address to the administration of your commune ;
  • if you are a european worker not living in Luxembourg, you have to address to the "Caisse pour l'avenir des enfants".

If you recently started the procedure either at your commune or at the "Caisse pour l’avenir des enfants" :

  • you should shortly receive a letter with a myCard.

Due to a minor technical problem you might have received a myCard with the wrong name of your child. In this case, please contact immediately our helpdesk ( Email: helpdesk@cgie.lu, Phone: +352 247 85999 ) so we can send you a new card.

In order to receive a new myCard, you must address either to the administration of the commune where you live or to the "Caisse pour l’avenir des enfants".

The myCard is valid until the end of elementary school. This means that you will not get a new myCard when you are going to renew your annual subscription of the "chèque-service accueil".

If you have more children that benefit from the services of the "chèque-service accueil", you have received a letter with a myCard for each of your children.

At that moment, you can create a parent account using the IAM Code of one of your children of your choice, for example MusMa123

As soon as your account has been created, you can connect with your username and password to your virtual office in order to assign the other children to your account.

If all your children have been assigned to your account, you can connect to all applications with your parent account by using any of your children's IAM Code and your password.

In order to make your parent account more secure, we enforce a two - factor - authentication.

That's the reason why you need to enter a mobile phone number in addition to your children's IAM Code and your password, while creating a new parent account. Once your mobile phone number has been validated, your parent account is secured by a two - factor - authentication.

Your mobile phone number will only be used in order to receive a one-time password by SMS.

If you are the legal representative of one or more children who benefit for example from the services of the "chèque-service accueil", you have received a letter with a myCard and a corresponding linking code for each of your children.

You will find the IAM Code of your child on his myCard which is located at the lower right part of the letter.

The IAM Code is the unique indentifier of your child. At the same time this Code is the username of your parent account.

A linking Code is a Code that may be used only once for assigning one of your children to your parent account.

The linking Code of a child expires immediately after the child has been assigned to your account.

An activation code is used to activate or reactivate a parent account. You will have to reactivate your account if your forgot your password or if you lost your user credentials for authentication. Click HERE to receive a new activation code. The activation code will be send by snail mail to your home.

Please use your child's IAM Code as a username in order to access your parent account.

While creating a parent account, you entered the IAM Code of one of your children (for example MusMa123). Please use this IAM Code as your username to access your parent account

If you have assigned several children to your parent account, using the corresponding linking Codes, you can use the IAM Code of any of your children to access your parent account.

If you change your mobile phone number, you must register your new mobile number at your virtual office.

Attention: In order to connect to your virtual office you still need your old mobile phone number. Please make sure that this number remains active until the new number has been registered.

During the last years, the 2 - factor - Authentication has become a reliable method to secure online accounts that give access to personal data.

This method offers a supplementary protection to your parent account and makes sure that you are the only one that can access your account, even if anyone should know your username and password.

The method works as follows: in order to connect to an online application, the user must enter his username and his password followed by a one-time password (OTP) which is being sent by SMS to the mobile phone number associated to your parent account.

Attention: The OTP Code expires one minute after it has been sent by SMS. If you experience any timeout, you have to retry again.
