On Friday, 20th October 4C1 had the opportunity to talk to Sarah Hunt, member of the Bristol Gulls, who rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in the midst of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Inspired by a textbook excerpt about the Talisker Atlantic Challenge, the Q&A session was set up so the students could ask questions about this extraordinary feat. We gained insight into what motivated the Bristol Gulls, how they prepared for the race, and what physical and mental challenges the four young women overcame during their 46 days and nights in the middle of the ocean.
