INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS

Declaration of participation

Teachers and other adults are to fill in a declaration of participation and pass it on to their school’s administration.

Frequency and timing

The frequency for self-testing is the same as for pupils.

Teachers may test themselves at the same time as their pupils, or at a different time.

Members of the administrative and technical staff should preferably carry out their tests on the same day each week.

Positive result for an adult

In the event of a member of the school’s staff testing positive for Covid-19, the person must notify the school’s administration immediately and go home. The school will organise a replacement if necessary.

At the same time, the adult should also notify the health inspection https://covidtracing.public.lu/covid or 247-65533.

If the test was carried out at home, the adult concerned must inform both the health inspection and the school directly.

The heath inspectorate will send the person concerned a prescription for PCR testing.

Reporting pupils’ results

Teachers are to report their class’s positive and negative results on the day of testing to the health inspection and to adult students and the parents of minor pupils. This reporting to the health inspection is to be done digitally, via a dedicated portal.
